ADVANCED SKIN TREATMENTS

microinfusion

Macrodosing
Microdosing.jpg

Microinfusion helps plump and rejuvenate skin and can be used in areas where laser treatments and deep peels are not typically performed. This procedure takes the classic micro-needling process a step further by simultaneously addressing common concerns like dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.

Microinfusion boosts collagen production by rejuvenating skin by delivering anti-aging ingredients deep into skin with little to no discomfort or visible side effects as the tiny microchannels close within one hour.

A solution is placed into the device, where it is infused thru micro-channeling with needles smaller than a human hair for direct delivery into the skin. This creates a soft, natural-looking result, leaving the face looking smoother, tighter, and rejuvenated.

During treatment, these hair like needles puncture the skin to create a controlled skin trauma, triggering the body to heal the microscopic injuries with increased collagen and elastin production. This results in improved firmness and skin texture, in addition to the minimization of blemishes and scars.

The procedure can be repeated every two to four weeks as desired for your best outcome.

Micro-infusion Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is the MicroDosing?

A:  MicroDosing  uses a blend of cocktails in small quantities through very fine micro-needles to improve the appearance of the skin on-the-go. It is done all over the face, takes just minutes to complete, and improvements are seen in the skin rapidly.

Q: How does it work?

A: Painless  micro-needles, smaller than human hair, are tapped into the skin using a cocktail suited for your skin. it only reaches 0.6mm into the skin, so it is very superficial.

Q: Does this replace other facial and laser treatments?

A: No. The instant results of the MicroDosing  treatment lends many instant benefits that compliment other facial modalities, but does not replace them.  Facial and laser treatments cause deeper and more long term results and changes to the skin to dramatically get rid of sun damage, lines, and wrinkles, broken vessels, rosacea, scars, and more. MicroDosing  is a great treatment to get you event ready quickly, as well as for those who don’t want pain or downtime of other modalities, or don’t have the time to come back for a bi-weekly series of things.

Q: What is the difference between pen Micro-needling and the MicroDosing?

A: This is a mini injector treatment that is painless, doesn’t go deep into the tissue, and doesn’t create bleeding all over. On the contrary, pen micro-needling is painful, requiring numbing, and can go very deep, causing bleeding. In addition, this treatment will not break down your facial fillers like regular micro-needling pens or treatments, as well as would laser and energy-based devices.

Q: When do you see results?

A: Results are seen within 24-48 hours post treatment. .

Q: How many treatments do I need?

A. Many people get 4 treatments a year, but spacing is individualized. Some may get one every 6-8 weeks for 4 sessions, while others may choose to do it quarterly.

Q: Is there any downtime from the MicroDosing?

A: There is no downtime with this treatment. You may leave with some slight erythema (redness), but will look glowing, and in next two days will have more of a red carpet ready appearance.

Q: Is it safe?

A:  The use of injectables in micro-needling has been done over the last few years with no side effects, except one reported case of infection by someone who didn’t use sterile solution. Sterile solutions must always be used. That said, the neuromodulators and fillers are used off label currently, as the direct mechanism of which we see these benefits are not known currently.

Q: Are there any contraindications?

A: If you are allergic to metals including gold, you will be advised against having this treatment, as the fine needles are stainless steal with gold.

Q: How long before I can do other treatments?

A: All cosmetic laser, energy, or facial treatments can be performed 1-2 weeks prior or after the MicroDosing treatment..

Q: Will the needles break down my filler?

A: Given that these hair like needles only go to .6mm in the skin, they are not going to break down fillers that are placed deeper in the tissue, so it is fine to get fillers with this treatment.

NANONEEDLING

Nano Needling

What is Nanoneedling?
Nano Needling has arrived at Simply Laser! Nano Needling is a cosmetic treatment vs. a medical treatment such as Microneedling. Nano Needling is a pain-free method of stimulating the skin by infusing active ingredients into the upper layers of the epidermis. This is done using microscopic Nano Needling tips that are thinner than a human hair. This unique design enables a high degree of product absorption that stimulates collagen and elastin production.
BOOK NANO NEEDLING TREATMENT
Who is Nano Needling Good For?

Nano Needling is an effective, pain-free cosmetic treatment to reduce fine lines, acne scars, and large pores by improving the overall skin tone and texture and stimulating the production of collagen.
Nano Needling is good for almost all skin tones and types! This is exciting for those of us who are African American, African, Latin, Hispanic, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian ancestry and people of mixed ethnicities who may not be able to safely utilize more aggressive skin care treatments.
A few exceptions: Nano Needling is contraindicated for those with active acne, currently pregnant, or those who have had BOTOX or other fillers in the two weeks prior to treatment. Additionally, Nano Needling may exacerbate rosacea, so caution should be exercised if you suffer from this condition.

What is the difference between Microneedling and Nanoneedling?
As you may know, both microneedling and nanoneedling promote skin cell turnover, deliver serum infusion into the skin, stimulate the healing process, and improve fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial acne scars without downtime.
Microneedling is a medical treatment and nanoneedling is a cosmetic facial treatment.
Nano needling is NOT going to address deep wrinkles or loss of elasticity. Nano needling will do little for deep acne scars, stretch marks, or surgical scars (for example, tummy tuck scars).

MICRODERMABRASION

What is diamond microdermabrasion?

Diamond microdermabrasion is a modern and effective exfoliating method, which uses a diamond-tipped wand to gently remove dead skin cells.

How does the treatment work?

Dead skin cells are suctioned off while the negative pressure boosts blood circulation and stimulates cell regeneration. Skin is freed of excess hardened skin and made receptive for active ingredients. At the same time, impurities caused by clogged pores are reduced by removing the corneum (hardened skin layer). The skin’s appearance becomes finer, the pores smaller and the reproduction of skin cells are stimulated. An immediate firming effect is achieved by the vacuum massage. In combination with a skin treatment at our spa, your skin is provided with moisture and other active ingredients.

How many times should the treatment be repeated? Which zones can be treated?

Depending on your skin condition, we recommend repeating diamond microdermabrasion at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks to achieve a consistent result. For problem skin, it makes sense to shorten the intervals to 2 weeks between treatments, until the appearance of your skin has improved significantly.

Generally, the treatment can be performed on all areas of the body: the most common treatment zones are the face, neck, décolletage and back.
Should I opt for the treatment?

There are very few cases where diamond microdermabrasion is not recommended. It is generally an ideal treatment for promoting healthy skin and helping it to regenerate. It is particularly recommended for:

preparing the skin for mesotherapy and other laser and aesthetic treatments.

blemished or oily skin, or with enlarged pores

prevention or counteraction of premature wrinkles

treatment of light scarring

DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe method that provides a deep exfoliation and helps to remove the top layer of dead skin cells.

It is a relaxing treatment that doesn't leave behind red, irritated skin. This treatment is performed with a specific surgical blade and a delicate touch — there is a gentle scraping of the surface of your skin using light, feathering strokes.

The secondary benefit of dermaplaning is the removal of vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz. This hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles. The exfoliation is followed up with a nourishing, hydrating masque. Removing vellus hair reveals healthier looking skin. Contrary to popular belief, vellus hair does not grow back longer, thicker, or darker. Removing epidermal skin and vellus hair allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers of your skin and leaves your makeup appearing more natural.

There is no downtime with this treatment. A thorough skin analysis will determine whether a dermaplane facial is right for you.
